The Christian is called to a life of discipleship, and God's program of discipleship is centered on growing in our knowledge and understanding of His Word (Deuteronomy  6:4-9; Matthew 28:18-20). We not only become believers through hearing the Word (Romans 10:17; James 1:18), but we also mature in the Christian life by devoting ourselves to studying, meditating on, and applying God's Word (1 Peter 2:2-3).

Our Sunday school program is designed to supplement the weekly sermons as a time for corporate study, meditation on, and discussion of God's Word together. Oakridge currently offers Sunday school for all ages. Our Adult Sunday School class a begin at 9 a.m. every Sunday morning in the sanctuary.

Currently, we are using Thomas Schreiner's book, The King in His Beauty, as a guide for studying through God's Word. In this book, Schreiner helps trace the beauty of God's kingship and reign as it is revealed in every book of the Bible.

We look forward to having you join us!
